Waited a bit for it to "warm" up, was 12°F ambient with 15-25mph winds..

At least he seemed to be in much higher spirits:

I thought this would be a very quick hike - got to the trailhead and it was only 5°F out, pup went about 30 steps and started raising his paws - gave him the choice to keep going to turn around, and he decided he wanted the full hike - he picked each time we came to a fork, for more distance:

And he seemed super happy :)

Right after the hike, went to the vet and got the stitches out :)

,Kind of jealous of the snow and cooler temps you guys get. We hit 83 today in central TX.
It's currently 14 F here in SE Wisconsin, with a fairly stiff north wind that gives us a windchill of 2. Yesterday was the first day we've had above above freezing since mid January. We do have a brilliant, cloudless blue sky. On the ground, everything is covered by a fine layer of powdery, white road salt. My white Jeep doesn't look too bad but my wife's blue Chevy Colorado is filthy. I could run it through the car wash but that runs the risk of the doors, door locks and windows freezing. Gas mileage on both vehicles has dropped by about 20% and inside, the furnace is running full time to maintain a temp inside the house of 68.
The snow itself has long lost it's cheery, pristine white appearance and now presents itself as a gritty gray in many places.
Please, help yourself!
