Got my very first "sure-enough" Barlow in today, so it only seemed fitting to pair it up with this book.
 
Finally getting around the reading this. My fav guilty pleasure reading genre and I never read the classic.

 
Single-digit windchill this morning, but I can dream about the summer game! :thumbup:

Whittlinaway-I believe I have the same copy of that book, a very impressive primer on the art of carving, with actual helpful sections(I like the front one on woods, specific gravity and usefulness for carving etc. Some of the pictures! Masterful)
To everyone who posts up Tolkien-what can be said? He was a master of words, and his stories continue to withstand the test of time.

I don't think it's rude of you to point out natural advantages you have. :D
I'd remark that cold, snowy winters have probably allowed me to develop more character than you, but I'm too busy whining about the weather! ;)
