Blades upon Books - Traditionals

Many thanks for the recommendations Dave

"The Romance of Our Municipal Services"? Be still, my heart!
Is that Boy Scout knife a table knife? It looks very like a folding fork I have.

LOL! Cracked me up too! :D Yes, it is, a gift from Charlie C :) Someone posted a pair recently

🤙🤙great post Gary.
Thanks, Alan. :)
Delightful Davison and cool photo, Alan! How's the book? I've enjoyed Conroy's "coming of age" novels or disguised autobiographies or whatever they are, but I've never read Prince of Tides.

Stunning displays of books & blades, Jack!!:thumbup::thumbup: I'd love to get my hands on Everybody's Pocket Companion.;) It looks like it's right up my alley; random facts and useless trivia seems to dominate my brain (or at least it used to). :D Is there a table of contents?

wow. what a knife! never seen anything like it. what did todd do with the bolster? is that blue g10 spacers? really cool. thanks for the pic.

It's cool isn't it?

Blue micarta, steel, then blue micarta etc, then of course, black linen micarta. I like how he centered the pivot pin.

It's a mix of modern and traditional. I think it's a great piece of work.

Thanks, Alan. :)

Like all Conroy novels, it's dense and moving. Some say it was his best? Thanks Gary.
