Ok, so my intent was to purchase a couple of the blades I saw from the pictures Brian posted from his visit to the shop. You know, the Bladeshow stash of about 75 blades all lined up on the table. Unfortunately, none of the knives I was hoping for were available by the time I made it to the table, which was just a minute after the show opened. Those darn elves! :roll eyes:

However, I did snag this little guy that was just speaking to me. It's a model that I've been interested in for a while, but hadn't really seen a configuration that was calling my name. Glad I waited. I really like this one. Especially now that I've had time to look it over.

Esquire, 1/8" with Black bolsters and mystery burl. I'm pretty sure this is A2. I didn't ask, but the spalting is killer!

OK, so did anyone snag the top Ladyfinger in the photo below? The picture was taken by Brian while he was at the shop. Hit me up if you're interested in selling or perhaps a trade?

I noticed that Ladyfinger in Mist's thread as well. Great blue burl, black bolsters, appears to be stainless. :thumbup: Was wondering if it was going to be on the table at Blade Show. Pretty sure some of the knives from the Blade Show stash (that were not on the Blade Show table), were reserved for this Friday's thread, so still a chance it could show this Friday if no one nabbed it at the show.

All great purchases gentlemen. For those of you that I was fortunate enough to meet it was an absolute pleasure. As soon as I receive my knives (I opted to ship them and not take any chances) I will be adding to the photo goodness.

Ironwood or cocobolo. The two some times confuse me in pictures.
