Bluntcut Metalworks Cruforge V Superquenched Slicer Review.

Thanks for putting the knife through tough tests at 10dps 0.012" edge thick. Note to myself - not to send you a straight razor - hahahaha ;)

Pics are not showing up for me...
But look at the profile, it's shaped just like an electricians knife. I bet a straight razor would make a great wire skinning knife [emoji13]. But seriously. This is definately not a carving/chopping knife. So I'm pretty impressed. This knife would be perfect for skinning, general cutting tasks. I actually do think it would make a good "bushcraft" knife if one sharpened it at 20dps. It won't chop. And prying would break it long before you actually pried anything loose but it's not "fragile" in the sense of the general myth that any knife less than a quarter inch thick can only open letters.

Because of its profile I don't believe any reasonable task Is capable of totally dulling it. You could ding the edge up pretty bad. But because of its ability to hold a thin edge without rolling it'll still chew through most stuff while a thicker softer knife would simply blunt totally

Well, I have it now so we will see what it does, it's .012" ave behind the edge as I got it.
