Remember all that stuff about pretentious and superior? Yeah..

Lol, you have no idea what I have done to knives in the past 20 years.

Anybody got a pic of the spyderco salt bent in half at the hole? I think our noob needs some proof.

no?? prove to me jsut how something like that can be true? it defies common sense

We are ignoring WAY too many factors of blade design to even be considering the strength of opening mechanism.

By the way, how are your thumbstuds attatched? Scotch tape?

scotch tape??? lmao i thuoght it was duct but u may be right..
hey im being devils advocate.. if no one said anything bad about the blades they liked how could anyone get any good info from this post

Little bit of children's rhetoric for you there.

Many blade designs use a hole to mount the thumbstud, just a datapoint.

ya but none are as big as spydy, just saying its a structural weakness, now how about the zts any use with them?

lol touche.. ya thats why im asking this question. to see what blade i shuold try next

Well, you owe it to yourself to check out a Spyderco (considering your other tastes, a Manix 2 should do), to find out for yourself about that hole in the blade...

Besides the hole your missing major factors like the grind and steel used.

I don't usually put too much store in sweeping statements by people with no details about themselves in their profile. This thread is just an excuse for trolling.
