Bob Loveless passed away today

May God Bless Mr. Loveless, his family, his loved ones, and all of his friends....RIP.

Wow, that is a shock. I talked with him about two months ago. May he RIP.

Very sad news. Bob was my single most inspirational maker. He may be gone but will never be forgotten. Prayers for his loved ones.

Very sad news.. the passing of an icon. Really brings home the passage of time.

My condolences to the Loveless family. I did not know the man or much about his knives but his legend looms large. I will raise my glass with you all tonight in memory Mr. Loveless. Rest in peace sir, and thank you for all that you have inspired!

When I didn't know anything about custom knives like now- I still knew the name Bob Loveless.
 
I am very sad about this news, and my glass will definitely be raised this evening to one of the true immortals of custom knives.

I never met the man but have known and admired his work for many years. Still it leaves a kind of hollow feeling to learn of his death. I'll say a prayer of support for his family tonight and pray that he is at peace in the hands of his maker.
