Bob Loveless passed away today

It's 7pm, glass in hand, I raise my glass - Toast - to RW Loveless - A guy who may be gone, but surely no one here will ever forget the legend of RWL.

A true loss for the custom knife community. RIP Mr. Loveless. I never was able to meet the man but have always admired his work and his spirit.
 
Hard to express in words the sentiments for when one of the founding fathers in the custom knife community passes on. He's left quite a legacy and I'm honored to have one of his creations.
 
On behalf of Yoshiko Loveless, Bob's wife, our family would like to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are all very sadden by his passing. He will be greatly missed not only by his family but his friends and collegues as well. We are all very very proud of him and his accomplishments and so greatful that each and everyone of you have chosen to share your thoughts with us about Bob. It brings us great comfort to know that he had so many wonderful friends and collegues who deeply cared about him. Thank you again for caring...

grandma,mommy,and auntie, kept ur heads up high he has obviously lived a great life as we can see from everyones kind words.thank you grandpa for taking care of me and my family and making my grandma proud and happy to have been your wife(:

Goodby to a friend who earned all that came his way. A legend, great knife maker and a good honest man, he will be missed and remembered. My condolences to his family and the knife community that will miss him.

I would like to thanks for all the Bob's work had done at the knife world, he live allways whit us. Rest in Peace Bob. My condolences to his family and friends
