Thanks. Hard to tell from the photo but the 01 tool steel has a mirror polish and it gives it a light “blueish” tint. Seems like 01 usually has an acid wash finish, don’t know if that is normal for that steel or not but I like it, and probably the reason I haven’t used it.

It was an SFO for a European dealer two years ago if I remember correctly. I haven’t seen too many. Post’em if you got’em!

Sweet looking Bog Oak. I wouldn’t mind seeing Boker use that blade more often, such a thin slicer.

I touched up the blade on this one recently, 01 tool steel sure takes a keen edge. It has tried to bite me a few times since!
