BOLO: Seeking A Poached Bose BLADE'13 Lottery Zulu Spear (Ivory & Hanson Damascus)...

Well, that just stinks!

Jaxx, hopefully the surveillance cameras do the trick.

Hopefully we can get some great photo's of the knife to make sure it cannot be sold here, or on the Bay, without "nabbing" the tool who did this.

Every year, we hear about d-bags that pull this kind of stuff.

The only saving grace is that they did not actually rip Bose off, or smash out your vehicle window and take tons of knives, etc. (Seems that cases of knives get nabbed every year!).

I hate to hear about this Alex. I can't imagine how it would feel to think the knife was yours only to find out some scumbag pulled a stunt like this. I've never won, but have entered many years at Blade and know this had to be a huge punch in the gut for you.

I would have been heart broken as well. Kerry Hampton's photos.

It wont be long before this knife shows up somewhere. You cant keep a knife like that hidden forever. The idiot that has it has no doubt already shown it off or told others about it etc.

I found reading this thread very disturbing...It would appear that within the confines of this forum,we dont have to deal with BLATANT THEFT!!...It saddens me that people can behave like this and no im not knaive.....I do hope you have a happy outcome, particularly on a personal level, FES

Very saddening to read about this incident, and the amoral behaviour involved in cheating the rightful purchaser out of their dream knife. I very much hope justice prevails.

Jack

Thanks for the pics. I hope this does not go unpunished.

Disgusting. Jaxx, I did not realize you won this knife. Not sure how the person who took it from you can even enjoy it or how could any Bose or traditional collector could enjoy it.

Tony and Don. I am not surprised at all by your reaction. Thank you both. Alex is good people.

Thank you to Mike for posting pictures of the knife in question so we will all know what to look for. It's a darn shame that a piece that superb is going to be someone's albatross.

so what does one do with a beautiful damascus knife that's the talk if the town, and you can't even tell your friends about it. what a Lame-o

Alex, you should take the above photos and add them to your OP.
I agree with the above post. A knife like this won't stay under cover long. It will surface, and then there'll be hell to pay.

Jaxx,

Sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope you can stop being so personally upset and still find the person. It saddens me to see someone else's lack of morals bring you down like this. Here is to hoping the replacement is even better. Somehow I think it will be. This way its made just for you. That is pretty awesome, especially in the line for a T. Bose and top it off with that Damascus.

Kevin

Sorry to hear about this, really a black eye to the knife world when this stuff happens.

Will keep an eye & ear to the ground- it will turn up sometime?

This is a tragic and regrettable incident, I'm so glad you're getting another. I have to say though I was just looking at the pictures and... Wow! Oh my goodness. That is a truly stunning knife.

+1

So sorry for the loss, perhaps the scumbag will be caught and dealt with properly.

One question, why wouldnt the person responsible for the transaction for the knife not check ID? I mean, this is no run of the mill knife. If some guy just walked up and said "oh hey Im so-and-so" and the guy believed it out of hand that was his bad too.
