I liked The Book of Eli but liked The Road a whole lot more. I leaned over to my wife during Eli and said, "Jeff Imada." The good old FMAs have been going strong with the knife stuff since the Bourne Franchise and movies like The Hunted, which had Sayoc Kali in it as opposed to Imada's Inosanto Blend of FMAs in Bourne.
Credits rolled and it was...Jeff Imada fight choreographer!
Too much spinning and stuff in Denzel's movements, starts to look like 1980s David Lee Roth Wushu during the "Panama" video.
But, that's what the public thinks taking apart four human beings with a bolo would look like so they do it.
Mila Kunis was a surprise.
Here's to Viggo's Eastern Promises with the very one-sided ding-dong knifefight and A History of Violence, both excellent films with a creepy edge that makes you think Christopher Walken is going to walk into any given scene as Gabriel from The Prophecy.
