Book of Eli

I liked The Book of Eli but liked The Road a whole lot more. I leaned over to my wife during Eli and said, "Jeff Imada." The good old FMAs have been going strong with the knife stuff since the Bourne Franchise and movies like The Hunted, which had Sayoc Kali in it as opposed to Imada's Inosanto Blend of FMAs in Bourne.

Credits rolled and it was...Jeff Imada fight choreographer!

Too much spinning and stuff in Denzel's movements, starts to look like 1980s David Lee Roth Wushu during the "Panama" video. :D

But, that's what the public thinks taking apart four human beings with a bolo would look like so they do it.

Mila Kunis was a surprise.

Here's to Viggo's Eastern Promises with the very one-sided ding-dong knifefight and A History of Violence, both excellent films with a creepy edge that makes you think Christopher Walken is going to walk into any given scene as Gabriel from The Prophecy. :D

I thought it was a good movie. Not Denzel's best but well worth seeing on the big screen. Good story, plenty of action and a pretty good cast. I'm sure I'll pick up the DVD when it comes out.

I've seen it twice now, since some friends wanted to see it and I was the only one that already had, I sat through it again.

This is a solid story, picked up on a few things I missed the first time and like it even more as a result.

Just saw it earlier tonight and really enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind seeing it again but it'll probably be on dvd.

I thought the Book of Eli was one of the best films I've seen in theaters in years... the music score really did it for me.

I saw Avatar and was disappointed. I saw The Book of Eli and thought it was great. I hate when there are holes in the story, to me Avatar seemed to have a lot of them. Eli seemed to have covered them pretty well.

I really did not care for Avatar, 3-d was cool, but if I want to sit through an "earth first" rally, I'll go to a real one, so I can at least hit on hippie chicks.

Bear Claw, if you go hunting hippie chicks, you best watch out for hairy legs/armpits and thier BO ala "all naturale" (translation, no deodorant). Enjoy!

HAHA, you have no idea how funny that is to me!!! I actually went to an "Earth Day" thing about 5 years ago and this rather attractive girl calling herself "Moon Dancer" (Seriously!), was chatting me up, and then gave me a hug...........she raised those arms and the "funk" could have been classified as a bio-weapons attack!!!

The 'Book' look s sweet and I think Denzel is an awesome actor. Man on Fire, enough said.
