Depends on where and how you drive. And what you like to do for fun...

When your night fishing off the bank they come in real handy. Spot light takes up one hand... I need both... And the spot light doesn't light up as big of an area.

Parties out in the woods....in the fields... Setting up camp at night...

Also use mine to light up a volleyball court during family get togethers.

5 light bars on a vehicle that only ever drives in city, parks at the mall, uses it on streets during the day to draw attention... a bit much....

I paid extra to have mine mounted behind my lower grille so it's not really noticeable until i turn it on. Draws less attention... But it damn sure comes in handy when i need it.
 
I've got to admit, I've never been a real big fan of Jeeps. And that's only really because my son's step-dad is a Jeep nut. We don't see eye to eye. At all. Ever. Purely because he thinks I'm a loser because I don't earn much money. Eh. Whatever.. BUT. Seeing how cool some of your jeeps are fellas has really made me think differently. About jeeps, not Cals step-dad. I'm really starting to see how cool these little trucks are and getting a good appreciation for them. In Australia however people charge wayyy too much for basic models. I really want a Fourby (4x4- 4b4- Fourby) but I think I'd be looking at getting something like a SWB Nissan Patrol with a nice chunky turbo diesel. Or a TD Hilux. You can pick them up pretty cheaply and a lot of them have some great mods already done. But this be just a pipe dream at the moment. One day mebbe..

if you can get either of those with a selectable locking rear differential, that would be sweet -- especially the diesel Patrol
 
Id love a 4wheel drive td hilux as well. An older one... Seen the new ones and they look too bubbly for me.


I like jeeps wranglers.. Old, new.. Square or round headlights...
But i need my pickup...can't live without a truck bed now... Way too useful..

The jeep truck would makes me happy :D
 
I wish I could have a little diesel Hilux. You should take advantage of their availability there, Springy. Then you can rub it in our faces.

Oooh.... How about a Holden Commodore Ute. Hell yea!
 
To each their own. They sell a ton of them, it's the latest fad. I've done all those things without a lightbar.
 
Lightbars would be cool if every high school age kid in my town didn't mount them on everything. And I mean everything. The worst vehicles I have seen them on so far is a tie between a Celica and a 60's mustang. Both disgusted me greatly, haha. Plus every bandwagon "jeep guys" around here with two wheel drive Cherokees have them too.

Thanks man. I'm taking some money with me tomorrow. If everything looks okay, she's gonna be mine. I've wanted a Jeep, ever since I was 16, as my friend had a CJ7 we used to take 4 wheelin'. I'm 52 now, and it looks like the dreams gonna come true.

Yeah for sure. Heaps of the trucks over here have some really cool mods added just for going wayyyyy off road and they don't ask a great deal for them either.

This thing has more stuff done to it than Toyota San could have ever dreamed. With an air locker in the rear and a Detroit in the front. Dude only wants 10g for it as well..

I just realized I DO NOT need a Jeep. Ever. Unless I'm flush with lottery winnings, in which case, I'll buy two. 4WD Truck maybe.....AFAIK there ain't that many places you can drive off road in NH. And Those big ole tires I see/hear rolling down the highway here.....posers.
