Born Again Maher & Grosh

Charlie, Roger said Miller Bros. made his El Diablo. Yours have a different shield, ? .

Have any of you seen these knives made buy Queen?? Curious to know how they are??

I have the Yankee Whittler. I can usually find something wrong with a knife, but this one is perfect. It’s like traveling back in time and visiting a hardware store.
I was wondering who made it until I read the comments here. The first knife I lusted after was my fathers Queen winter-bottom bone hunter trapper from the ‘50s. I still have it.
Maybe I have one of the last high-quality Queen knives made before they went out of business. Sad sad sad. Mad!

I also have one of the newer Yankee Whittlers. They were made by GEC on their #78 pattern frame.

Get them while you can. I was surprised there are some GEC-made M&G’s left. I think the “no more SFO’s from GEC” announcement will move the remaining stock.
IF GEC quits doing special orders, it will pretty much kill off M&G as there are really no other high quality slip joint makers in the US that are likely to do their knives.

Beautiful knife, although an odd photographic artifact on the thumbnail nick there! Makes it look like a portion of the blade's spine has been scalloped out.

I cannot wait to get mine this week.

Nice, Travman Travman !! I managed to score a couple of those, but the will sit (weeks) in my U.S. Post Box (across the border), until I can afford to sit home for two weeks!!:mad:
At least dust is easy to remove!!

The pulls are about a 5 on both blades. Good action with satisfying snap when closing

Congrats, that one looks very nice. I mistakenly thought I'd have the evening to decide which one I wanted and order first thing in the morning...by then they were all long gone.

I received two of the M&G 120’s today, an Appaloosa and an ebony.

They both seem about perfect. Walk and talk is great, good snap, smooth pull, and really wonderful old style box and packaging. I love the etch and I hate etchings.

GEC and the M&G boys knocked it outta the park on these knives.

The only complaint we will hear is the main blade nail nick is just above the secondary, so some of you two armed klutzes and one armed bandits may wish for opposite side nail nicks or secondary behind the main blade. Not an issue for me cuz I have 10 thumbs.

This could easily be someone’s only traditional folder and they could be happy for life.
