Kerry, that's one hell of a nice job!

That is very nice.

Slap a little boiled linseed oil on that puppy and the grain will jump right out at you.

Gorgeous!

Kerry, the highest compliment I can give you is that box is a perfect match for that set. Both are flawless.

Golly...thanks fellas. The box is far from perfect but it is fitting. I was happy to be able to do it.

This is a great looking trapper from Tony that he patterned after an old 4 line Camillus that was made before 1920. It has an unusual spey blade that is clipped. Standard Bose fit and finish with ATS-34 blades and springs, 410 SS liners and bolsters, and SS pinned shield. Hafted in Remington bone. Going to the Blade Show.

I've never seen a spey blade like that, but I love it.

I got very lucky a couple of years ago and was drawn on 4 line #1. It might just be my favorite knife. The grinds and swedges are very complex and flow like water. There is something about that pattern and especially the "spey" blade.

I am with Ran; this is a great thread!

Kerry..You just volunteered to build my Bose Display case..I can now turn what I started into a nice little fire..

 I think we need to wake up this sleepy little folksy thread with a real doozy from der schlippie meister.:D Several of you that attended the chicken eyein and coon fingerin sessions at the Blade Show last week got to handle this one.

Not many of these were made by Tony. This one sports some great looking dyed stag that he aquired from Culpepper's years ago. Blade and spring is ATS-34, SS bolsters/liners/pins. Notice the stop pin down between the liners on the #5 image...prevents the blade from over-travel when it is closed.
