Bose Knives

John, you and I need to have a talk about that BP since I have its read headed step child now. Blues, great pics and great knife.

First, nice improved pics of a great knife, Elliott!
Next; it took a little while to get this deal finished, but here she be! I look forward to adding my pocket lint to Tony's and John Hanlon's and an R.I. friend in this baby, and I am working on that right now (he pats his purse-less pocket!). It is sharp, but I will touch it up, by and by. The bone is exquisite, and the size at a bit over 3 1/2" is just what I need. And give me rat-tail bolsters, and I'll follow you anywhere:eek:!:D
Thanks Tony for makin' it, John and my Rhode Island friend for selling it on in succession to me. I am the fourth owner and user.

Now I know I love you for your knives, to heck with the french toast. I will stay as long as you can tolerate the old man drooling all day long looking at your collection.

Charlie...you deserve a great knife like that, my friend, and it is right down your alley with that belt ground finish. Use it in good health.:cool:

Nice snag…a WT like that in RemBone and a Killer Stag Saddlehorn are the quintessential Bose for any serious collector. Nice picture too

I can finally add to this thread! I recently purchased a 3inch shadow trapper by Reese. This has been used/carried and shows marks on the blade and spring. It's a user and I have and will be carrying it. Clip point with a great swedge, ATS-34 blade, excellent action.

A question: Does Reese do "clean ups" on purchased knives? Would he rescale this? I think it would amazing in a jigged bone.

Muddy, it'd probably be best to contact Reese directly since he doesn't participate in the thread (to my knowledge). You can get contact info at www.boseknives.com

Tony demonstrated hand grinding a blade and putting together a Arkansas Hunter while at the Case Customer Appreciation even over a week ago. Here is an interesting shot of Tony and Case CEO Tom Arrowsmith with Tom holding a leather strop while Tony puts a keen edge on the knife he just finished. Looks like Tom is a bit uneasy about the whole situation.
