Bose Knives

This might be the wrong forum for my question but about how much would this Tony Bose fixed blade be worth? Please let me know if I am out of line by asking the question.

As my brother-in-law would say, if your friend bought it on E-Bay, he paid more than anybody in the world for it. ;)

Great desk knife from the best. Would that be A2 steel?

The seller didn't title the Ebay listing very well so it would have been difficult for interested bidders to find it. I think the high bidder got a nice deal.

Nice knife, beautiful stag; and now that the auction is over, it would be of interest to all of us to see the actual listing! Please post the link!

I just figured out that there is a family resemblance between Sowbelly Barbie on page 10 and Robuck's avatar!!!! or is it the same guy!?

Here is another example of a completed Ebay auction (yesterday) where the seller didn't put into his auction title exactly what he was selling. Someone got a great deal on a Case / Bose collaboration Yukon! Case / Bose knife pics included in the listing so as not to stray too far from the intended meaning of this thread :).

Us Kentucky gals (BetsyV and I) were invited up to visit The Wilfred Works this past weekend. First impression of the shop is WOW! I kept thinking to myself "so this is where the magic happens?” We took a quick little look around and were immediately impressed with the organization and placement of everything. Betsy and I took a moment to look at all of the pictures up on the walls of the shop. Of course there were knives.....but amongst those pics there were some pictures of the people that Tony has made knives for in the past. Behind all of the pictures, were cool stories that Tony told us about. Let me tell you....there are some very interesting stories!

We then had the GREAT HONOR to go where no women have EVER gone before....Tony's Office (he, he). On the door leading into his office was a sign that stated "NO GIRLS ALLOWED". Since Tony is the nice man that he is, he made an special exception for us :D We CE and CF'ed many knives and of course I was impressed. Again, each one of the knives had a story. It amazes me how Tony knows the story behind each one of those knives. He has a plethora of knowledge about knives and their history. Betsy and I both talked about how we could sit and listen to Tony’s stories all day long.

Shortly after our tour and CE’n and CF’n all that we could find, we took a little trip into Coal City for an “Old Fashioned Knife Swap”. That was such a neat experience, walking around and looking at all of the knives the collectors brought in for the swap. It was fun to watch the locals ask Tony questions about knives and rub elbows with him. After the knife swap, we went back to the Wilfred Works and sat for a bit, chatting about knives. I will have to tell you, it was probably one of the best days I have had in a long while. Just to sit and chat with Tony and Kerry was a true pleasure. If you ever have the opportunity to meet Tony Bose, you should! Tony, thanks again for the tour, and I hope to see you again soon!

What a great trip, AK!

Sounds Wonderful! Please share some pictures of all the fun!

HO HO HO, Ho's....Safe & Happy Holidays TO ALL,
