About the lanyard: I think Bose knives are so perfectly thought out that just about anything other than the knife itself, well, detracts a little. However, these lanyards are a practical additon to a practical/user knife. Moreover, the lanyard is made so smartly that slipped behind your belt it will secure the knife in the sheath for good. Also, even the color of the paracord tries to match the color of the stag. In other words, it's all good.
 
ahhh Juan...you speak wisdom, my friend. That is exactly why they are made the way they are. The knives are nearly totally covered in the sheath and fit very tight. The paracord fob is needed to pull them out of the the sheath. When the knife is in place, the fob slips under the belt as backup security, just in case.

A leather lanyard would've been nice, though. ;)

Vince-I just got it, but haven't had time to take a decent pic yet...it's a beauty-perfect in every way!!!:D
