Bose Knives

Tony saves the best ivory for the bestest, kickass knives he makes!...nuff said! :D

ps...notice anything different about this AH?

The blade grind is a little different than mine, a little deeper perhaps, and the pull is definitely larger . . . . . . what am I missing??

Beautiful knife no matter what is different!!

Swedge extended toward the tang? Whatever, kickass pretty much describes this one in my book, also, Kerry.

This dog knows how to hunt! :D

Those are sweet, thanks for posting the pictures Kerry. I spoke to the owner of these knives this morning and he told me both knives have fantastic ivory scales.

Wow,both knives owned by one lucky guy! They are both fantastic.I like the blading on the Reese MT,I like how the one clip is a bit thicker stock, what a hunter & all around great knife, two killer blades
I like the beveling job on the Arkansas Hunter, that knife is a Tony Bose Master Peice
Truly, two examples of really great knives from the two best makers
Thanks for the pictures Kerry,a great thread !

I think it's got a different style of swedge (closer to a drawn swedge - while some of the earlier ones are more of a cut swedge) and the nick looks to be larger and deeper (I like large, deep nail nicks - they save on wear and tear of my thumbnails). Gorgeous knife!

Yes! This one has a drawn swedge like on the original Empires whereas to up to now Tony's knives have had a cut swedge.

Lovely Ivory on each one of these fine knives, although I think My favorite is the little teardrop jack with the wharncliffe blade.

Thanks for sharing:thumbup:

Just got this one a few days ago. Cotton Sampler with ivory scales and ballock shield. The ivory looks much better than what you see in the picture.

Wow, Beautiful! Cnasty would be all over that one. I know he like the CS and the ivory is a knockout.
Thanks for sharing,
Jim

Very nice John!!!!!!!You are now king of the ivory sluts.Nobody better than the "Old Dog" when it comes to working with pachyderm plaque.Didn't think they grew cotton in your neck of the woods.By the way "HAPPY BIRTHDAY",oops that's not supposed to get out.Oh well, I never did learn how to back space.Congrats!!!

At making a blade like that one you can tell the men from the boys. And it doesn't get any better than that fantastic cotton sampler. I can imagine your grandchildren's grandchildren using and enjoying that knife.

Here's a couple of Tony's knives that I just finished sheaths for. Very nice stag on both of these 8" knives...D2 hunter and 440V semi-skinner, and sharp as all git out!
