Nice one ain't it, Mr. Bee :D

BTW and FYI, a little birdie told me that the chestnut bone Lanny's clip is going to Blade as well. ;)

Those knives are certainly a fine EDC carry

I forgot to mention that this knife is going to Blade Show 2010.

I've got to say if this was the Case/Bose collaboration I think it would sell like cheap hotcakes. This is just so much nicer and smoother than the Arkansas hunter. I'd be forced to fork over the money to get one.

The Arkansas Hunter is a knife with a different purpose, and serves it well. The Lanny's Clip is definitely more pocketable, and well designed also.

Oh yeah I know that. But to me, the Arkansas hunter just didn't flow very well? I don't know how to explain it. I guess since I knew what a Lanny's clip was, I always compare it to the smooth lines of that instead and it always falls short.

I imagine one either loves or hates the AH, because of its unusual style.
It was conceived during the early art Deco period, ca.1920, and some of its look reflects that influence.
Took the very practical saddlehorn hunting knife, and gave it a different, but equally practical look. A discussion on artistic influences on knives would be interesting, but maybe not in this forum.

It sure is a different looking knife than most of the Bose arsenal. It's a flat-sided beasty with facets and corners...certainly doesn't look that cozy to the hand but it's an award winner. I think it's because it is so different and, might I be so bold...ARTSY! Why even our ole buddy BRL says it's ART DECO so it must be artsy. :D

Jinx, Charlie! :d

I think this is where you make a wish; if you ask my granddaughters anyway!
Ahem; I wish my name gets drawn in the Bose draw at Blade!!
(and for world peace of course! In honor of said granddaughters!!)

IMHO the AK is a great design from many perspectives. I use it a lot, and the long blade plus handle palm swell makes it an excellent kitchen knife. That same curved handle, makes fits the bottom of my pocket perfectly, so the knife always rides where it belongs in the front pocket. The only thing wrong, is the missing accent groove on the bolster...oh well gotta save some money somewhere :)

I dropped mine this weekend after testing the ribs, bounced off the top of the Weber and hit the concrete. Thank god it was closed and for stainless steel bolsters, just a wee knick on a corner of a front bolster.

I'd like to show you the sheath I had made for my slicer. I asked Larry Parsons if he could make one up,off a drawing & measurements, since I would not send him this knife ;)
Once he knew it was by T.Bose, there was no way could get it "plain Jane" , he knew I'd show it,so he showed his talent, check out the tooling & it fits perfect .
This is not for belt carry, just for "carry - ability"

Very pleased,
-Vince
