We are,
I sure hope I get to spend time with as many folks I have gotten to know a little (or maybe some more than they might want). What a great start to the show. The gang was well behaved today. It was great to see my brother Blues, Tony, Reese, Don Hanson, Lee, Brent, Mike Z., the Tozaki's, John, Campbell, Kerry, Dr. Bill, Cullpepper, k-9, Tom, Steve (Alphaholic), Steve (my neighbor), Rick, Johnny, Niel, Don Cowles, Walter Brend, Kim Breed, Jerry Hossom, Jerry Fisk and at least a hundred other good folks and friends. I can not wait until tomorrow when more friends will be around.
Shiela, I got to meet a friend of yours who lives about 60 miles away from you. Really good guy. He was with Don Morrow and another gentleman I spoke with for a while. You keep good company.
Some highlights from today.
Got to see the 5 blade Ken Erickson made that Campbell has. Just an incredible knife. Blues and I had a hard time keep Campbell from playing basketball with it.

.
Tony and Reese's knives. Uh, Tony and Reese's knives. Uh. They even look better in person than they do in Kerry's pictures. Uh, Tony and Reese's knives...
Mike Zscherny had some very nice work and I was lucky enough to snag one. Also got to handle a few knives from Don Morrow, Don Hanson, and Brent Cramer and snagged one from Brent.
Some of us have already done a little damage to our pocketbooks, but I do not want to steel any thunder from the gang. Maybe we can take some time out for a group shot of our knives tomorrow. I'll give it a shot.
Being around these folks is nothing short of a pleasure. I am exhausted though and am going to hit the sack. Meeting GigOne and his son for breakfast tomorrow in the early A.M.
I was checking around for some knives for Charlie, (had a little shopping list.), but struck out other than a sweet one going up for auctions soon. At least I can give him a lead on it.
Dinner was a small group with Steve (neighbor who has been collecting since the dark ages), the Tozaki's, Johnny Stout and Don Cowles.
