Bose Knives

Thank you for showing us these beautiful knives!
My wish list is getting even longer though... :)

How many knives per month on average does Tony make ?
I don't know the answer but still think getting 1 Bose knife per month would be being greedy. What about "share the wealth" and give other equally deserving people a turn ?

Today I spent a great day surrounded by a wonderful collection of well worn Bose knives. Today my wife and I had the privilege of visiting Mr. George Strunk at his shop. George is an acclaimed decoy carver, craftsman, and artist, and a hell of a nice and decent man.

George carves his beautiful decoys with Bose knives and every one of his knives, some two dozen, are used plenty (hummm, there is this pretty ivory Zulu...., never mind.) I could have spent the rest of the week chewing the fat with George but, sadly, we all have things to do and so on.

Here follow some crappy pictures of some of his exceptional knives.

Thank you for a great time, George.

Just when I was getting in a great mood, then I see this post and realize "Life is just not fair", why not me? I ask myself.:grumpy:

Had a great visit with Juan and his wife. Really nice people. Talked a lot about hunting, fishing and of course Bose knifes. Makes me want to visit Panama to catch some of those peacock bass.

Wow, it's great to see so many Bose knives altogether that are actually put to real use! Thanks for the pics.

This knife was made a good while back and Tony doesn't remember when, but it made it's way back to Wilfred for a "fluff n buff". He says it has been a while since he made one of these. It's a sweet lil thing and only has a tiny rub on one of the blades, that I can see.

Oh...I threw in the little chunk of leather in the last pic above for no additional charge. :p ENJOY!

This little Swayback Jack is hafted with bone that Tony bought in the early 90s. It was sold as "old German bone from the 60s" (possibly from Boker, but hopefully it's cattle bone and not actually from some old German from the 60's :p )
In any case, this is Swayback Jack goodness from the hands of der schlippen meister....it's all good. :D

Great and useful congress! Infinitely carryable size, and
a bodacious bounty of beautifully swedged blades!

And then, along came a swayback!
Ach du Lieber! Das ist ein wunderschoen Klappmesser!
