I havent gotten the official word from Reese yet but......... If I'm right I've been waiting for this day for a while! And it is flooding down in Texas!

That knife isn't the standard WT, it's 3 1/4" closed. He has made a bunch of the standard WTs.

See...now if Kerry would have been doing his job he would have told us this. Slippin......either that, or he's drunk

It did seem a bit smaller than normal but I didn't measure it...size didn't seem to matter that much. :D Anywho, CJ...you are REALLY going to dig this little sweetie.

That's a beautiful WT!! That's some great looking
bone!! Well the entire knife is great looking!
Congrats to the new owner! Wish it was me!lol:D

Well it was confirmed with Mr. Reese Bose this morning..... That WC trapper with Napanoch bone will be on it's way to Texas in the next day or so. When I called Tony answered and said "You about to bust open ain't ya!? And the answer is yes. I absolutely can't wait! Thanks for the great pictures Mr. Hampton, and thanks again Reese.

I forgot to mention,..... It'll be here just in time to jerk the Britches off of some Bullfrogs. It's warmin up down here so it's about that time!

Friends,

I've been kinda out of the loop for awhile, so am just catching up reading the posts. I see the picture of a guy and a dog, so is this the picture of the dog that is referred to as "the old dog?" Whos dog is that anyway???

I heard,CJ,that the acidic outer slime  from the common bullfrog is very damaging to Napanoch bone . You'd better have that knife sent off here for safe keeping :D

Naaahhh....... just kidding of course (not really :)),glad to hear you plan to carry & use it.It'd be ashame not to,that's what they're made for
Congrat's ,once again!
-Vince :)

Awesome knife CJ. Congratulations. I know it was a wait, but sure looks like it was more than worth the wait to me. :D.

Nice one George. Tony builds them just right. Slim in the pocket, comfortable in the hand. Cuts like a mutha' & stays sharp. What more can you ask for ?

Absolutely an older knife Kerry. My guess it was made around 1990 to 1995. Maybe Tony will shed a little light on when he made it.

Nice one George. I know you've wanted another swayback for a while.

And thanks for posting the Lanny's LB, John. Always good to see some of the earlier knives by Tony.

There's a nice article on Tony in the current issue of "The Case Collector" including some good photos of his vintage knife collection.
