Bose Knives

I thought I read somewhere (and I might be totally wrong), that the only wood Tony would put on knives was ebony.

This is true, but only after spending 2001 with the Dali Lama (or was that the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders...I keep getting them confused.) :p Anyway, ebony is the wood of choice these days. You are correct sir.

I am in temporary custody (with huge thanks to Mr. Robuck) of this desk knife by Tony in ebony. Mike helped me with my father's day shopping for this year. (For those who have been wondering, thankfully I only have one daddy.) ;)

The sheath is by Paul Long here on BFC as sheathmaker.

May I send a copy of this pic to my daughter with the reminder that she too has but one daddy?:D

My first Bose knife could not have found a better home. Thanks again Gus. Hope you father enjoys it as much as I did.

looks like rosewood or maybe crouch walnut. I am interested . It just doesnt look like ironwood. But the supply was better when that was built.

Some of that bastard walnut stays pretty light. I have two custom rifle made with Bastogne Walnut both look a lot like that handle. I have saw cocobolo look like that also.

haha...baggy jeans. Actually, they did have a hole in the pocket. But this is a true story....I promise. 5 minutes after I posted that...my dad called me and said he found a T. Bose knife under some wood in the back of the Gator. I know it's not the knife that I lost in the last couple days........so which one is it???? I have no idea. Yea....I used to drink a lot, but surely I would have remembered losing one from Tony. Back in 04, I went through a spell where I lost a couple knives, but seem to remember them turning up. He is going to bring it back from the farm today. Unfortunately I won't be here...I'll be hang-gliding in Chattanooga. The anticipation is killing me.
