Not for the smaller BP. The 2nd handle pin(below the shield) isn't needed for the narrower bone.

This little knife is basically the 4" Backpocket pattern as a fixed blade. Tony made this out of CPM D2, tapered the tang, and hafted it with beautiful stag. Stainless pinned shield and thong tube add the perfect finishing touches.

That fixed blade is incredible. (Big surprise there huh ).

Been hoping to snag one of those somehow, someday.

I shot this last year in November. While I was at the shop, a parcel arrived from Gary Graly and this beautiful trio was inside. Ivory, Ebony, and Stag Desk Knives with perfectly form fitted sheaths by Gary.

Cutlery companys in the old days used to make knife pulls for people who weren't blessed with strong fingernails. These were shot last year and are the first ones that Tony made. The stag pull is stamped "Prototype".

This is a dandy! Awesome stag and 440V. I think this is the first one of the large BP that Tony has fluted.

Tony doesn't make very many of these. He says he doesn't like to make one unless he knows it will be used. This one is going to a hunter in Tennesee. The overall length of the Bose Drop Point Hunter is 8" and this one is made of D2, has a tapered tang, and is hafted with gorgeous stag.

great stag on that hunter!! I want my tshirt with a real pouch on it so I can carry stuff in it.

Here we have a 4.5" BP done in a green canvas shadow. Tony used CPM D-2 for the blade and this knife is going to be performance tested on a high tech cutting machine. It's scary sharp!

This knife has the typical half stops and is flush jointed(includes the spring end).

Judging from the cut at the ricasso, it appears the blade has been ground thin for optimum cutting/slicing. Am I seeing that correctly, Kerry?? Nice looking knife!
