Finding one of these out there would be like finding a bucket full of chicken lips :p Tony says that the stag on this knife is rare and very old second-cut Sheffield stag. They boiled, pattern pressed, and dyed it to simulate surface figure.

That is just a great knife. I can tell the great amout of skill needed to make a knife like that in that level of quality. A lot of people can make a knife like that but very few can do it with the quality of this one and that is what really counts. This is the kind of knife I want to make when I grow up:)

Very nice, and well earned, compliment Enrique. You make a heck of a knife yourself (in case no one has told you :)).
 
Here's a couple of filet knives recently finished by the Old Dog...the first one hafted in some very nice burl wood and the other in green canvas micarta w/sheath.

They're all beautiful however that green canvas filet knife is like a dream. I'm so envious of whomever is going to own that right now about now.
