Bose Knives

Beautiful  And razor sharp, too

Kerry,

The Old Dog probably makes all of knife making look easy?:)

Beautiful knife Tony. - :thumbup::cool:

Do you ever get tired of "chicken eyein" one of the Old Dog's ivory knives? I've said it before...nobody finishes ivory like Tony. Having recently screwed up ivory on a knife I am working on, I can say that it isn't my most favorite material to work with, but Tony makes it look deceptively easy to finish.

I never would have imagined I'd NEED any knife that flirts around the 4-digit price, but, OMG, I will have to own a Bose some day. These beauties bring a tear to my eye. They should be in an art museum somewhere being admired by millions.

Hello guys!

After I took some pics, I allowed myself to use my Reese Bose Saddlehorn lockback and it's a real pleasure.
I used it mainly in the kitchen, preparing diner and eating with my wife and it's peforming sooooo well.
I can't wait to use it a little bit outdoor, just for fun!
Of course, as for now, I'm extra cautious when using it, just like with my Tony Bose Saddlehorn you've seen few days ago.
Maybe in few weeks (months?) I'll be using it more "normally"?
Although I'm not sure of that... Not yet...
Here are some pics:

What can I say? Both knives are incredibly well made, extra sharp and fit perfectly in your hand.
It's very pleasing to use such knives, very very pleasing...
I hope you enjoyed the pics.
I'll try to answer any questions you may have on these knives on a decent timescale :)

Augustus, That's a fine pair of father and son Bose's you have there! They can only add to the preparation and consumption of some fine French food! As you said, using a well made knife is a real enjoyable experience. Thanks for sharing them here.

It's even better than the French food!

Two fabulously well constructed pieces!! Must be a joy to use such rarified beauties

So well constructed
I nearly self destructed
A counterpoint of cool

Thanks Mr. Franks

Hello Don,

Thank you for posting that knife. It is very nice. Is that a Lanny's clip blade? It makes for a great combination.

I have a couple of ivory handled Bose knives (wharncliff trapper by Reese, and whittler by Tony), and they are wonderful to look at and use.
But I hope that I won't be too out of place by saying that the ivory-handled Tennessee Jack that Kerry made for me fits right in with those two.
