Bose Knives

Hello all,
Here is Tony's old bench knife. He mentioned that he used this knife for 4-5 years before replacing it. He reground it for me so there is life left and I plan on using it daily. The steel is D2 and the scales are ebony. One blade is very sharp and the other is dulled to use as a scraper. My new favorite knife for sure. Thank you Tony.

Congrats Nathan that is a great tool. The way these guys grind these blades is phenomenal.

Nice Nathan, what a great piece, with lots of history. Man, what that knife has seen! Hold it to your ear like a seashell and maybe you can hear Tony's voice.

You are not kidding. The grinds are real nice and the swedges look as if they were cut yesterday. The chamfers on the ebony are exact and laser straight. The attention to detail is pretty amazing and it fits the hand real nice. Now if I could just find a way to carry it……

Off topic question. Did Reese or Tony ever make3 5/8" wharcliffe trappers? Or just the 3.5" version. Photos, comments, would be appreciated. Thank you fellow members. I would love to hear Kerry way like only he can do. Thanks again. -izzy

That is VERY cool knife, great work bench tool right there! I have a small wharncliff blade from Tony that I use in leather work, very cool as well, I hope to one day get back out there and visit with them and Kerry again, enjoyed that a lot !

Hello Gary, I saw a pic of your leather knife in one of your work in progress threads. That is a very nice knife. I really like the shape of the handle. I hope to visit their shop again too. Very nice people and it provides loads of inspiration to build the best knives possible. Maybe Tony or Kerry can post a pic of his new bench knife. If I remember right, it is ivory....
