Bose Knives

As my grandfather use to say, "There's two of a pair!"
And, quite the pair they are! Nothing but the best!

We can always count on Riad for a robust and heart felt "Damn You"! Like you Ed, I was beginning to think that he might have been a bit under the weather or had a change of heart but he came thru in the end.:D

FRiends,

They will sure fit grreat in someones pocket. Kerry, Great photos, and again whoee work by Tony! :D

I mailed out 14 this week so please let me know when you receive them and lets see some pics!! ;)

Randy,

I got a nice little spot on my back all shaved off for the sticker. I just wish it was a little warmer here in Colorado but I'll be OK. I'll get some real good pictures.

Thanks again.

Well, I forgot to ask you to send the template...
No worries, though. It'll be more than rewarding enough to see Mike's.

This knife is the first in a potential series of this pattern adopted by Case to be the 2008 Case/Bose Collaboration Knife. Blade and spring are ATS-34, brown Case bone(color enhanced by Tony using tricks an old indian taught him :D) SS liners and polished bolsters and caps.

The saddlehorn is one of the hardest patterns to handle with stag due to the size material that is needed. It's very easy to end up with a knife that is too thick at the back end due to the shape, but Reese did an excellent job on this one(is there ever a doubt) ATS-34 blades and springs and stainless hardware.

Well, that Hunter has to be one of the nicest yet and that's saying a lot. I like the bolsters, jigged bone, swedges, shield, etc., etc.

Thanks for posting them, Kerry. Great job, Tony.

The saddlehorn is pretty cool too!

Now why would people go making up new knives when there are beautiful old patterns like that hunter waiting to be brought back from extinction? Its just fantastic.

That saddlehorn trapper is sweet, but the Arkansas Hunter just ROCKS! Two great folders, just love that hunter.

Well, I could expound monotonously on how the overall shape is just perfect and the threaded bolsters add that certain final pizazz and the swedges are to die for and how that nice rich enhanced brown color makes the bone astoundingly traditional and how hard it is to make flat bolsters carry the line of the knife cleanly and perfectly but here the master has done it, - - -but I CAN'T! I'm STUNNED and SPEECHLESS!! What a knife!
And then there's that Reese guy, who holds his own with that nicely accomplished saddlehorn. Tony's a tough act to follow, but Reese is a chip off the old . . . uhhh Dog!
They must be proud of each other!
