I would be happy winning a Bose butter knife at Blade, but that cattleman's has to be one of the best.

I say Randy stays out of that drawing since he already has the other one.

Great images of a Gorgeous knife, Kerry! Thanks for posting!

...and don't think for one second that we didn't notice your avatar MISTER!:D

Seeing that diamond shield reminded me of the tools that Tony and Reese use to cut those in by hand on uneven material. Here is a tight shot of Tony cutting in a federal shield on the WT that was in the Knife World article and a closeup of some of the tools that he uses. The small chisels are hand made for this specific task.

Hand cut shield recess??? I guess you can only "router" it when it is relatively smooth??
I can see me skittering those tools across my thumb, and halfway across the table top. THAT takes practice and skill!!
I LOVE those closeup shots of the process, Kerry! It reminds me that those durn knives don't come from no WALMART!! (as if!)

Times a wastin...more knives to make and so little time :)

Nope...no Wally knives here! That's Wilfred Works Security; only the best crosses that threshhold.:cool::D
