Bose Knives

Well, not to brag or anything but in some ornithologic and knife circles I’m known as the cock of the walk.

I will be in full plummage at Blade; watch me strut and crow if I win a Bose knife in the drawing!

Nice job Randy.

Vince. That is an excellent idea. Maybe once in a lifetime, I might be able to outsmart my father ;)

Got your pm. Try to respond to it shortly.

Randy,

Thanks so much for letting us know about this "Phony Tony". :D

What were they thinking???

All you guys and gals headed to Blade, forget the drawing for the Bose knife, I am going to win it. And it will be coming home with me, I may have to sneak out of the hotel, but some things are just worth it, another Bose would fit that description.:)

Well..its baaaaack.. I just checked and the knife is listed again with an updated description stating that it may be fake. I just bid a buck on it and if I am the lucky bidder I plan to take it to blade to give to the Ol Dog.

But it is listed in the description as being a fake, but how many folks really read all of the description?

I can't see,how any man,who wants a Bose WT,couldn't be talked into accepting one as a gift.Hard to understand,just an observation/comment
Campbell,I bet you could sell it(the idea, that is),good luck on it

I keep checking on that Bose website to see if there are pictures of any WT's or BP's for Blade . The suspense of it ,huh

Vince, it so happens that as of this afternoon, I am sans WT. I told him I found another (which of course, I haven't) and he finally took mine. It will be the first time in about 5 years I haven't played around with that sucker at some time each day. So now, to make up for this tremendous hole in my heart, I need to draw that Ebony Cotton Sampler at Blade. Need it to go with these soon-to-be-joined-with-my-1911 grips.

That is great, good for you. Now,the way I see it,that good deed/karma thing will come back. The odds now in your favor. So it's the Cotton sampler that gets you, huh?
For me,its the Reese Eureka,but I'm dreaming of the ballon 4 blader,too.
No matter what the outcome it'll be a great weekend I'm sure.Looking forward to meeting & Congrats on persuading Dad.Nice gesture,it'll give him a great feeling

The 2 blade Barlow by Tony is fine, too.I'd be happy being picked for any one of 'em.

Speaking of barlows, the one that Tony donated to the NKCA is pictured in the new issue (July) of Blade Magazine on page 51 as part of an article about the Blade Show.

There is also a great article about folks that use their custom knives starting on page 82. Our buddy George "Duckman" Strunk was interviewed for the article and has a couple of great images(the full page image of the black Micarta WT laying on a bed of shavings ROCKS!) included in there as well.

Congrats on a Kerry Hampton photo in Blade and to George for being in RogerP's article. I need to find a copy of the current issue.

Oh, nice barlow!

You gotta love the sawcut bone, just a great looking knife. It should fetch a good price.Tony is the man !

Tony went and done it again! He made another DE Cattle Knife but this one is made out of CPM-154 and clothed in old Rogers bone! Tony says, "finding Rogers bone is like finding a bucket full of chicken lips". I think that means it's impossible. :) Rare and unique bone for a special handmade knife.:cool:
