bowers score of a lifetime!

Hey is it cool to leave my bow stringed, or do I need to unstring it while not in use?

I had it strung up today with a string from my local shop. Not flemish, but it will work till I get mine. I also got to fling an alluminum arrow I had around. Its a cheapo, but at leas I got to do somethin.

45# is great for me. I had no problems on the draw, and I actually could hit things with it, so its a start. Makes me realize how much I need a glove and armguard though!! I can already tell this is for me.

Heres a pic. Go easy, I have hat hair, and my form is probably crap, but this was my first time shootin a bow.

A couple times..... But, no pain no game.... Well this time anyway. I wont be doin it again till I get some gear together.:o

as for the arm slap.. it's definately gonna happen.. try keeping the elbow out and turning the wrist up..:)

looks like i might have to make you an armguard too...:cool:
 
Oh yeah, that would be tits man. Some leather from Cali would rule.

Elbow out, got it.....but not clear what ya mean on the wrist up.

Im tryin to shoot 3 under nock. I tried 2 below, 1 above but I think I like 3 under better. Does it matter?

j-- one step ahead of ya... i have already gotten started on your armgaurd..:D i might be able to have it done by tommorow...

as you point your elbow out, slowly point your thumb/wrist up, with out turning your forearm...:)

i say 90% of the people i shoot with, all shoot 3 fingers under, a.k.a. mediteranian draw... i like it much better... for the most part, it is a matter of individual preference...

j.williams three fingers under works fine. I shoot split finger but I usually teach three under.

Yeah, I see why an armguard is neccisary, that string dont feel good if it whacks youre forarm...ouch. Thanks brotha!

I went ahead and made ya a paracord rifle sling to show my gratitude for youre help. You can use it for a quiver strap also.....
