Bowie mania, let's see the Bowies.

Bob Miller of Holly knives made me a nice carry Bowie, 10 inch blade and buffalo horn scales. Stellar rigs sheath.

Thanks! :D The other pair I have on the way will be even nicer!
Cant wait to see! Have you used a knife with those (cant remember the name) fullers? Bevels? The lines in the middle of the blade?
Im curious as to how they affect performance

That's Busse's corrugated bevel technology (CBT), and I have several models with this feature. I haven't really ever noticed any performance gains or losses due to the feature, but in theory, they should maintain longitudinal rigidity while reducing blade weight (and they look cool). This thread should help answer any further questions. (Or at least begin to help.)

Well, "soonish" is here! :D  My D-Guard Bowie has arrived, and here are the photos I promised about a year ago! I'll get some better ones when the weather clears later this week.

Redmeadow (BF's own John Conner, link to his s/f in my signature) D-Guard Bowie in 52100 and Nickel Silver, with maroon Paperstone and Alternate Ivory.

John also sent it into Coop (@SharpByCoop ) for some pro photos, and I can't not include them here! ;)

All time favorite? Sure, I can buy that. Greatest Bowie ever made? Not in my opinion. I mean, the Wheeler is nice, don't get me wrong. But I like the Arkansas school of Bowies, Jerry Fisk in particular.

Well I'm just a plumb dumber who can't post pics, but I learned as a misguided 5th grader (many years ago)that a Bowie Blade was 8" or more, had a clip point sharpened on the clip for the "belly slice" as the book in my 5th grade classroom so elegantly put it.
