BPS Knives of Ukraine

Just arrived today from the old country. I'm pretty chuffed with the knife. The sheath has great retention, but the snap-together feature is not very confidence inspiring. I'll drill out the snaps and install a belt loop in their place. I'll also reshape the butt of the handle a bit. Altogether, I find it outstanding quality for the price.

It's just a bit larger than an Eldris. It seems like a handy size for EDC.

Congratulations, that looks very useful 😎 Thanks for the Eldris comparison 👍

I just received a 4.5" bladed Savage yesterday. It is carbon steel, bog oak handle scales, and a full flat grind. Sharpest knife I have ever received from any manufacturer. Good leather sheath, although a little too long. Well worth the money, and it's made in Ukraine. It does double duty as a kitchen knife ;)

Congratulations :) I found the original Savage sheath a little too narrow, so I've just got a replacement, fits better, and it didn't cost much

I've just been to pick up a parcel from the post office, which turned out to be from BPS Knives :) In addition to the sheath above, and a couple of other knives I bought as gifts, I got a HK4 and a Techno Bee. Both have the usual outstanding BPS quality. Hopefully, I can get some better pics soon

This is agonizing! Where are mine???View attachment 1999290
Hopefully, soon
There are 2 miracles that occur with BPS knives. The first is that they are able to be manufactured at all. The second is that they are able to be sent out to the four corners of the earth.

Patience is a virtue! :)

Wise words Mark

An impulse purchase arrived this week: BPS Knives Kiridashi. It might make for a useful utility blade, although it looks kinda tacticlol mall-ninja. ;) I'm going to experiment with some sort of cord wrap.

Interesting Rachel, please let us know how you get on with it 😎 I think I might see in the New Year with my BPS Independence Day knife 🙂 I've had my Savage on my kitchen knife rack for the past few weeks, so it's been getting plenty of use 👍

My first try at a cord wrap and I don't think it's too bad. A little tighter fit when re-sheathing, but still draws well. I've never liked the idea of wearing neck knives, so it's more likely to go in a coat pocket or just sit on a workbench anyway.

Playing with paracord is challenging with a cat in the house. 😉
