BPS Knives of Ukraine

My first try at a cord wrap and I don't think it's too bad. A little tighter fit when re-sheathing, but still draws well. I've never liked the idea of wearing neck knives, so it's more likely to go in a coat pocket or just sit on a workbench anyway.

Playing with paracord is challenging with a cat in the house. 😉

Nice work Rachel, that looks good  I'm with you on the Neck Knife thing :)

An impulse purchase arrived this week: BPS Knives Kiridashi. It might make for a useful utility blade, although it looks kinda tacticlol mall-ninja. ;) I'm going to experiment with some sort of cord wrap.

I think it wants a handle.
But I posted this before I saw it has a handle now. Nice.

After reading your description, Rachel, I scrolled down with trepidation to actually see the knife.
My immediate reaction to my first glimpse of the entire knife was, "Cool! Horse foot knife!"

A couple of months ago, I stuck my slicey BPS Savage onto the groaning magnetic knife rack on my kitchen wall. Since then, I've used it every day I've been at home, and it has performed admirably. I've deliberately not touched the edge, but it's still slicing sharp :) Helped me make soup tonight

There is a particular loaf of black rye I like to pick up at the bakery on Friday mornings, the only day they make it. Sometimes it is too fresh out of the oven to put it through their slicer, so I have to slice it at home. The Savage shines in that application. The only knife I use more at home is the Sani-Safe paring knife.

I hardly ever use fixed blade knives outside of the kitchen, but I will have to take a look at their offers. Trying to help small businesses from Ukraine as best as I can.
That was my own reason for ordering initially, but I have been very impressed with everything I've had from BPS

I just ordered a knife I don't need for no good reason. Funny I didn't think of the bps savage, because I like the looks of that a lot.

Good for you Jer, I've bought spares! :D It's a shame they don't do more flat-ground knives :) Still looking forward to the Hephaestus being back in stock though  Hopefully they have a great future once the Russians retreat :)

I like the high saber grind on my big one more than the scandi on the little one, but I can't deny that the little one is a tough little bugger.
I should probably get the savage before they raise their prices.

I just got the one on the bottom. It’s pretty decent quality and the price is right! Highly recommended.
Isn't that the HK5?
I got me a few. Took a little while though (including 9 days tied up in US Customs).

Nice photos  How do you find the friction folder? The only thing that puts me off it is the trailing point. Probably get one at some point anyway
