BPS Knives of Ukraine

I keep meaning to pick one of these up, they have caught my eye for a couple years now. They make a friction folder, it looks different in a good way and appears well made considering its price. Somewhat like a score peasant, but with lively wooden handles and is much more visually appealing.
What’s holding me back from picking up a fixed blade is I don’t get enough opportunities to use the fixed blades I already have 🤷🏻.
It’s good to see this thread has been left alone despite the pics of Ukrainian citizens protesting and the double edged “tactical” knife, IMO it fits the topic and most of their products fall within the traditional category. I got a verbal warning for posting a pic of a traditional knife with a pocket clip recently so pleasantly surprised that level of censorship is selective 👍🏻.
The porch is dear to me so I try to fall in line, but the lines are blurry at times.

Sure would be great if BPS started producing a simple single blade slip joint, I would pick one of those up in short order, maybe someday.

Mine got some use today opening a package from Japan. I already have one of these wood saws from the same company, and it is my favorite, so i got another one. I figured they won't be getting cheaper and i will use them often, so why not 😁
 
I was wondering if you could fill the etching with nail polish to make it more prominent. Think that would work or is it too shallow?
