Breeden Knife Number Three, and some Firestarting Under Very Wet Conditions

Hi all,
Snake Dr. thanks I hope number 4 and 5 are liked when mistwalker and MRS mistwalker get there knives LOL. Yea the MEGA is cool knife I have been carrying it on my hikes the last few days and clearing trails and just plain have fun with that big knife. I have customer that ordered a 10" one so when I get it made up, I think that will be cool to, I can hardly wait. Yea I think the 3/32" thick one will be a great slicer too.

Zhang I am with ya I can hardly wait to read and see the pics:D in mistwalkers review when he gets them done.

Yea, cain some Pink would be cool. Can't you just see mistwalker walking through the woods with pink handled knife:eek::D

Nice Knive's MistWalker and I like them Sheath's # 4 with the Fire Steel and the PSK In the front pocket "That's a Complete Bush Country Comdo" ! Bryan Is doing some Great Work ! And that Mega WarThorn he made Is a Beauty "I'll bet It's Great at Chopping" I Like Big Blade's at 10" Long & 3/16" Thick It's Perfect, The one he's gonna make at 3/32" Thick Is gonna be a Nice Slicer, Real Nice Work Bryan !

I love the looks of that larger one, and would love to get one some day. It looks like it should be fun to work with and versatile for such a large blade, but for my uses going smaller is better at the moment.

Thanks, my schedule has been crazy the last few days so I haven't had a chance to do much with them yet but I really liked this shot.

Not in this life time...I'd find a way to change the color! Unless maybe I was trying to low crawl through carantions....

Hi all,

mistwalker, now there is a thought who knows maybe some day you will work in a flower shop:D I am not sure why you would have to low crawl:eek: though LOL.
Cool pic of Lisa knife.

mcjhrobinson, Thanks, The MEGA is a sweet knife.

Take care all,

Bryan

Need some in handle pics of that blue one and in the sheath please

Ok, Lisa's not here right now so here are a few pics of it in my hand and in the sheath. The handle fits my hand snugly but I like it and I still want one this same size later...hint hint...would want it in blue but that wouldn't really work now so I guess I'll be wanting a green or tan one probably, though I'm liking this G-10 also. I'll be posting another thread after we take them out this weekend so more pictures then.

Ok ok, why is there a projection on the back of the handle where the thumb lies?

edit: First knife, not the blue one.

OooooH I like the matching firesteel handle LOL That is cool.

Joe do you mean the tan handled knife with the extended tang?

In a nut shell for me personally? 1) Primarily because of the type retention strap I want on my knife (one that never comes in contact with the edge of the blade). 2) It plays a key role in the knife's functionality in fire starting. 3) It offers me control and leverage in some of my favorite grips in using a knife in specific cutting tasks.

Heres mine. Cant wait

Don't have to explain yourself to Joe. He has a big Mineral Mountain Bowie he is scared of. ahahahahahahahaha

HI all,

Caine that knife and sheath looks soooooo cool:thumbup:

I thought I would post a few pics of the choking up abilities of the slanted Guard and how it really ( well for me ) makes the most secure grip when handling this type of design.
Whether you have the edge down or up you can wrap your finger around the bottom or the upper guard and it choke up in that area that is just awesome.

In these 2 next pics shows my with the edge down and my finger wrapped around the bottom guard.

Like I said this is the most secure grip I think. When cutting cane( cutting cane is like weed eating out of your garden) out of the rows of milo or beans that we planted here on the farm and carrying that MEGA or my EDC Warthorn knife while cutting cane is just awesome while choking up on the handle / slanted guard area.

You suck. STOP SHOWING OFF. everyone knows you have THE COOLEST KNIFE. its awesome. :) :)

I love that Mega of Bryan's....it's an awesome looking knife. But I think this new one I named the "1-0" is pretty darned cool too. I can't wait to get out with it! Should be a new thread to start after this coming weekend :D .

As always it's extremely sharp!

This is a reflection shot of it on my belt.

While I was out for a walk in the woods behind my house I found lots of fresh fungal growth popping through the leaves on the ground.

Hi all,

Mistwalker, Alright another review commming out soon:thumbup: I love reading what you write about the to and see the pics that you post:D. That "1-0" looks like the perfect tactical knife for the urban areas you hang out in:eek:. Looking forward to the review and pics. I hope the weekend goes buy fast LOL.

I noticed by the handle that you are carrying a new type of PSK in that front pouch. I am REALLY REALLY looking forward to that review;)

Al right Caine just for saying those mean nasty words to me:eek:
Here is some more pics LOL :D

Well today I had to check an electric fence that Kathy and I put up to keep some cattle in one part of the pasture. The part that we do not want them in is going to get burned next spring. Here is the area that we were checking today. Looking down the hill you can see the orange flagged fence going down and then into the canyon and into the timber down there. most of that has to be check by walking it. I also cut out some plants that were getting to tall and I did not want them touching the Electric fence.

Now the MEGA Warthorn is a knife that pretty much hangs out with me since I made it up.

In this pic I was cutting out a small thorn tree.

101_2065.jpg

In this pic you can see some plants that are clustered and I wanted them trimmed down.

101_2066.jpg

In this pic they really got trimmed.
