Hi all,
Caine glad I could help in making your day LOL.
Mistwalker, Thanks, it was fun doing that project with that knife. I would like to try a 10" one too, in time I will make one up then I will have to send it to you and see what your thoughts are? LOL
You know I do not want it to sound like I am bragging I am not, but I am fortunate to live on farm and get to roam around through the timber and valleys and pastures that we have and the streams and little creeks that we have are clear and good clear water. and when it is boiled up it taste good too. It really is neat to be able to walk out and if I want to have fire i do if I want to cut a live tree down I do Locust trees are hated by most here and there are so many it is crazy. heck sometimes I even get paid to cut them down LOL. We have had a really cool summer here the temps are in the high 70s now and the we only hit 90 or above this july on twice so far.
that is like unheard of LOL. When I started that fire for fire hardening my spear it felt pretty good that morning to sit by it. and the smell of the walnut wood burningis like no other smell. I really like that wood for burning
in my campfires. I hope someday you can come here. there is a lot of locust to cut LOL.
To bad about your brother selling the family farm.
Snow thanks, I am really liking that blade shape and the slanted guard is so AWESOME. I mean you can hold that knife and it is SECURE in your hand like no other knife or knives I have ever held or used. It is so cool. Thanks again to mistwalker for designing the Warthorn knife
