Bret Dowell Knives

Nice stag on the swayback and those back pockets look super clean.

I have one of Bret's knives in my pocket right now!
 
Got this dandy on the way, and I am very excited. Bret made this in salute to one of my favorite patterns, the iconic Remington 1123.
It's a little more pocketable than the original as it measures 4" closed.

Very nice Corey. It is good to see something new out of Bret's shop, especially such a great interpretation of one of my favorite patterns. That 1/2" will make it much more pocket friendly for sure!

I assume that is Micarta? What does he/ you call that pattern?
Looks like burlap, or lawn chair strap. Something heavy.
I like it.

Thanks gents for the attaboys. Almost 2 years on the wait list and I think it was very much worth it.
Hopefully this one will be an actual user, as the shape and blade configuration so lends itself for real work.
