Bret Dowell Knives

Just wanted to share some more pictures of my knife - I love it, Bret! The blades are ground nice and thin and the level of workmanship is incredible. I think I want more :D

That is a beautiful knife! One of the best mycarta scales I have ever seen...ever.

Just got my Carbon Fiber drop point from Bret so I thought I'd pop up a pic...

Great set of knives - looks like you are ready for about anything...
The only "negative" I can find? From today on there will be no real need for any other knives :D

Fabulous, Bret, love the popcorn stag against the deep rat-tail. Looks like an ideal nick placement below the beautiful swedge.

Here's a little stag trapper I finished up today. Hope you guys like it.

This is my kind of "eye candy," a piece in which the clarity of lines and well-chosen details work together to form a directly pleasing presentation, with so much to enjoy once one absorbs the initial impact and looks further to understand why it's so appealing.

The swedge, rat-tail bolster and shield are perfect complements to the beauty of the stag, enhancing without distracting.

Well done!

Stupendous Bret,

I love the stag, this is as good as it gets, the way you handled the transition from the tail is wonderful.

This really works, the nail nick and how it falls in perfect alignment with handle, excellent!

Can't agree more. True eye candy.

Great pocket knife Bret. -Izzy Had a question, do you lighten the pull when you use stag, as appose to micarta? Anyways, great craftsmanship.
