Bret Dowell Knives

Jason, did Bret do a saber grind on yours too ?

Roy, No sir, Just his regular grind on mine, But I really like the knife he made me. It's a dandy and a perfect EDC. I also love
the etched A2 he used, looks great and gets sharp and stays that way... Yours looks GREAT!

Great looking trapper with a fabulous grind! And I like the micarta, too :D

Just got my pic from Bret that my Barbwire Serpentine Trapper is done. Thought I'd share the pic here with my fellow knife nuts !!!! In keeping with my tradition of not leaving well enough alone, I asked Bret if he could do a saber grind on the ol blade profile.

Well Bret...that must be the end of the barbed wire stash ....eh? Great knives...all of them.

Hey Gents. I never post but I thought this one was deserving of being thrown into the mix, especially considering the recent hybrid patterns being posted. ~3 7/8 closed, CPM 154, ~3" Lanny blade with a Back Pocket handle.

A very attractive combo, the LC blade on the BP frame. I especially like the long pull - and the micarta

Just wanted to share some more pictures of my knife - I love it, Bret! The blades are ground nice and thin and the level of workmanship is incredible. I think I want more :D

Agreed! This one really jumped out at me too and i'm not usually a fan of modern materials on slipjoints. The semi-sunken joint is a nice touch. fantastic looking stuff all the way around...

Like them both but the bottom one is sexy.

Bret, How does the Lanny/Back pocket blade differ from a Saddle Back Blade? That thing is killer. -izzy

Mike just asked for a 3'' Lanny clip looking blade in a back pocket frame so that's pretty much what I did. I imagine the Lanny is a little wider. I really liked how that knife came out too.

Nice group of knives, Bret. I like the way the covers show 'em off.

Awesome knives Bret
