Do I need another fixed blade to carry hunting? No.
Would I have been happy letting this one go after watching it not sell for a while? Undetermined.
Am I happy that I decided to buy it? YES.
Now I am starting to understand why you let your BRK Drop Point Hunter go.

Made the rounds through a couple of friends before finally being on the way to myself.
Everything I look for in a slipjoint right here.
-Green micarta, rat tail bolsters, zulu spear blade, nice Schrade Walden-esque shield..
#2 made of CPM154 zulu bladed loveless tribute by Bret. #1 was a prototype.

Haha, part of the reason, yes, the only reason, no. Reserves came a callin and I had to let a few good ones go.

Arrived yesterday but had to wait for some decent light to get a photo.
Smaller than I thought which was a welcome surprise. It measures at 3 5/8's which is the perfect carry size for me/a coincidence is that it is a perfect companion in size and dimensions to the Zulu Spear Bob did for me. A matching set now.

Finally took the time to take a few pictures of my Dowells. I am not much of a photographer.
These are my prototypes or second knife of a particular model.
This is my latest, a LC. Bret says the micarta will yellow with age.
Again, I have am having problems with displaying the pictures. I have no idea how I got the second pic of the LC to attach to this thread in the manner is has.

Beautiful drop point and kill of the day Gies nice to see one of his fixed blades in action.
Great looking array of pieces from Bret Rod, the jigged swayback and shadow zulu are really something.
What I carried today, I like how CF shows twill and layering as Micarta does.
