- mmm, luscious! You do have some real good'uns, Tim

It will be. Interesting to see what Bret brings through the Wanenmachers show for delivery this spring!

Can't wait to see, if you go please take some photos and document the show.

Thanks Chui :) Here's the newest piece. I've not had one of Bret's very recent builds until now and I can say this is sublime.
I love the city knife frame and the way it melts into your hand. The CF has some very tight weave and the orange liners make it pop.

Nice pick up Ben!

I just got these two Dowells in via a trade yesterday... These are my first knives from Brett, and I have to say I am incredibly impressed. I was even a multi-blade skeptic until I handled these. Excellent work Mr. Dowell, and I hope everyone enjoys the pics!

New sowbelly on the way :D

There's nothing new about it. I made sure to beat on it while I've owned it. Today, I was so mad waking up to snow, that I actually threw it out into the lawn. It took me 4 hours to find it and that's only because I stepped on it forcing it into the dirt. Don't worry, the toilet water cleaned it up nicely!

Have fun getting through that half roll of Duct Tape that I wrapped it in!!!!

Aaron, nice pickup on the pair of two blades. I love the jig bone on the wharncliffe trapper.

You don't want to know what I did to that trapper I sent you then :D

Good morning. I have these images from Bret,of a trapper in different stages being built I thought you may like to see.
One knife will get Westinghouse Ivory paper micarta,it has a CPM 154 ss blade. The other will get some rag micarta from Javan,it has a blade of ATS-34 ss. Both knives will get federal shields ,that to me look like Schrade shields.

Now the pictures are nothing fancy, but I thought you'd like to see what some stages look like . Knives are NFS ,they are orders

This picture shows how the light will eventually force color on this material. It'll " cook" to the darker tones. May take a while, but ...
