Bret Dowell Knives

So I just got this in today... A City Knife in presentation grade ivory from out buddy Brett Dowell... WITH matching knife pick. This one, is awesome.

Wow, the last two posted are stunners! That ivory city knife with matching pick is real special! And I love the jigged bone on that last one!

Makes me happy I got my name back on Bret's list after getting my Barlow. Lots of time to ponder my options!
 
Bret was kind enough to allow me to use his pic as my avatar. Bret's work is amazing, I'm really happy to have this one.

Just love the ivory wharncliffe and the mammoth clip. Beautiful in all respects. Something about knives with "big tooth" covers just does something for me.

Did you just receive that Peter? Congratulations if so, that's a beauty. I've seen another of Bret's in westinghouse micarta I believe that quite interested me.
As always your photos don't disappoint one bit.

Closed length is 4" and steel is cts-xhp. Ground thin it's an incredible slicer. I have not dared to put it to really tough work yet - it's so beautiful :)
This knife is so extremely well made no matter how close I look at it:
