New Dowell dogleg. Carpenter XHP steel and dark brown burlap micarta over white g10 liners. Very nice knife.

Yeah Mark's a good guy, I got 2 of my Dowell's from him. Been stalking this thread for a while I should post mine soon.

Here's one I've been keeping secret. Not sure why but, what the heck, time to show it off. When this knife was in the planning stages, I asked if Bret could streamline the clip blade by extending the swedge further back than normal, making a sort of muskrat style blade.

I've been carrying this knife A TON. The size is perfect and it's nice and slim due to the thin scales. Has a good weight to it and the blade selection is perfect for everything. Once again, Bret has made a knife that I will use and never part with.

Thanks Charles and Gary. When wiped with oil, the scales have a nice gloss but after about 10 minutes in the pocket, it goes right back to that dry pocket worn look. I like that about this knife a lot, it gives it some good contrast.

Jsega51 Jsega51 Jake that is outstanding! the jigged micarta looks so good and has a vintage look to it somehow. Now what would you call the other blade, it that a drop point or a spear...love the long swedge with the nail nick!

Steve, sorry for the late reply here. The secondary is a Semi-Skinner blade. Bret makes a nice fixed blade with the same blade shape...

I know you have some as well Paul lol. But honestly, I feel they’re all good. You can see that Bret really puts a lot of effort into getting the nuances just right since it’s that combination of all the little things that make a great knife stand out.
