Would the FRN version you're considering (based on demand of course) be with the full liners or would you do it with nested liners like the E4/D4?
 
I would more than likely skeletonize and nest them to save weight but still retain all of the strength in pivots, screws and ridgidity.

October would be a safer expectation. Once they're in, they have to go through QC, numbering for collectors, etc.

Didn't have the patience to hold out for the zpd-CF after all, I think I can get
VG-10 sharp enough anyhow;)
 
Are there any pictures in comparisons to other popular Spydie knives such as a D4? Looking for handle thickness mainly.

Few questions.

What is the thickness and length of both the cutting edge and handle?

Is it going to use VG10 or S30V?

Does anyone know what the street price will be expected to be?
 
The Caly III is the one Spyderco I am waiting for at the moment. I can hardly wait to get one!! I do wish it was going to be S30V, but will be very happy happy with the VG-10 also. This will be my next purchase.

I'm not sure, but I e-mailed mine so he might get some from the first run and hold one for me.
NGK might have pre-orders, but you'll have to check with them...

Just so you guys know, NGK put me on a waiting list. No "pre order" in that I haven't sent any payment, but they will go down their list when the first order arrives.

We have enough coming in to cover collectors and a pretty good number after that.

I am also on the waiting list at NGK:). Must have the Caly III!! This is the one that may very well displace the Para that has seen alot of pocket time this year.
