Broken BK-9 Blade

Durn tootin' they do, although leave it to Moose to make a Gathering look like an alternative-lifestyle getaway.

That pic just screams: "You got a purdy mouth."

This made me smile. I recently did the same thing. Got rid of my Esee 4 and got a BK16. At first I thought I was crazy because of the price difference but the 16 just feels so much better in my hand. Nice to know I am not alone.

I got nothing against Esse knives, they're good blades and all but I always felt like they were missing something. I wanted a larger blade but wasn't able to force myself to get an esee6. The bk16 feels great in my hand, I had to add a couple of inserts (big hands for a short guy) and now it's perfect.
I see myself getting another bk knife (3 so far)

I've tried to force myself to like Esee because I know they make a quality product that they stand behind 100%, but I just hate they way they feel in my hand. The handle is too thin, short, and square for my tastes. I've been looking at getting a BK16 because it feels good in the hand and is surprisingly light, but I have like 3 other Beckers I want too and can't make up my mind.

WHAT ? You are hesitating to buy a BK10 ? Why ? It is pure awesomeness. It is THE reason i became a BeckerHead, #103 to be exact. Get you one right now. Don't wait or hesitate.:thumbup::D

The 10 is why became a BH too. I'm going to get one eventually. Glad to hear that you contacted them.

Personally I'm waiting for it to come down in price. Right now it costs more than the BK9 and that's too much for me.

Why in the hell did you link to a Dodge bumper sales page?

Cuz, that would be deal spotting, since Dodge isn't a forum contributor.....

What bumper manufacturers are BFC contributors? :p Cuz I wanna upgrade the bumpers on my blazer.

that's Ford and GMC country down there :>

I want more Becker knives than what I've got but I have too da## many knives as it is & the wify is complaining. But I complain about all her shoes and bags. So we get even. Lol.

I am new here, but already love the forum. I also am a new member of the becker family, favorite knife I have owned or used. (BK7). But anyway glad to see the great service, and sucks to see a damaged blade. Hoping for the best.

Why all the animosity among Ford, Dodge, and Chevy owners when there are plenty of Toyota guys to hate? :D :p

I wish I got a tundra, but the wife bought a Nissan frontier, good truck in my opinion so far.

Yeah the Japanese actually do make good cars for the most part. I'd still rather have a blue oval or a bowtie on my grill. preferably one that's about 30-40 years old.

With the exemption of the above picture, this whole thread makes me beam with pride and want to buy another Becker (10 or 7).
Working in an industry where service will make or break you, it is sometimes easy to loose track of that when some one is in your s$&t. I often think about how Kabar runs their business and try to do the same. People just want to be heard and responded to with understanding. Ethan and Kabar do it well.

Toyota trucks are made here in San Antonio... I almost got a job down there when the plant opened went through 2 stages of hiring testing, but they are on the south side and I live on the northwest side, too long of a commute..

Though my thread has taken a detour I recently read something very interesting and it's a Google search away. Hands down, WITHOUT QUESTION, the Toyota was the most "American Built" truck of them all!
