Buck fixed blade Fridays

I believe this to be a Bass Pro, DLC, CPM 154 Vanguard.

Does this count as a fixed blade?
Only when affixed to a pole. :):):)

I have one of those. Found one cheap and bought it out of curiosity. The ends are thick and blunt, don't taper to a sharp point at all. I don't see how it could be in anyway effective.

isn't it setup for spearing.....looks like it could spear a fish maybe.....

Jess, I think if you handled one you would see what I mean. /Roger
I kinda do think i understand, looking at it. seems dull wide across points with wide
one side barbs............which means it would take some real force to punch through something....maybe if stock removed to make them a bit slimmer and sharper though? without making it weak and break hitting a rock underwater with it spearing at a trapped fish?

maybe we need a Roger Buck spear pass around and see if any of us can spear through anything with it....do videos and post here.😁

The fish spearing fork I used to use in the U.P. streams spearing suckers in the spring were pretty effective.
They were not that sharp when new, but we always sharpened them up a bit.

Smoked sucker, that's good eating around a campfire with a cold beer.

Sorry, just memories I thought I'd share.
