0692BO1-B Vanguard build out with ATS-34 blade, box dated 12/02/2009
The build out list states nickel silver for the guard and pommel but as you see in the photo the guard is brass.

I am a day late so feel free to delete but I was excited to show my bait of Bucks, just in from an esteemed Member off the Exchange. Now the decision... I am wringing my hands trying to decide whether to put these elk-hafted lovelies to use in the kitchen or to safe-queen them (I am leaning toward the latter, as I have a full complement of good kitchen knives). Oh dear. The pic' is from the seller.

What a nice dilemma, beautiful set, I say display them instead of keeping them in the safe. Get a nice display box and hang it somewhere predominate in your kitchen.
