Buck's Kustom Knife Shop IS still OPEN!

My new Marlin is VERY sweet...

My new/old Ithaca 37 is very nice, too...needs stock work (or replacement), but checking the serial number against the online data base, I find out it was made in 1949...same as me!!! :D:thumbup:

Now if I can only find a decent hacksaw blade...

Would also like to thank all those former and currently in the service for their service---esp the WWII vets as there aren't many left anymore.

Let me tell you, the Viet Nam vets are dropping like flies, too...I've lost three buddies in the last two years...None saw 60... :(

ok i did .... but it jest was not ..... ME

well i went to go back and some how the current one
come up.... dont know how i did it but...
i guess it's there tell i fig it out...
ya dont mind do ya?

:eek::eek:...PHEWWWWW.....Oh DECAF! ! ! ! ...That's a "side" of you I've NEVER seen...:p:p:p

Darryl, the point of my post was to try to give an option to solve the uproar that was caused by the price increase. As you can see, there were many people standing by ready to "stock" up if they would have just been given the chance to buy at older prices. The prices now are still higher than before (even after the recent adjustment), but as I said, now that people have a chance to stock up, they will "accept" the new prices.

And as you have seen, people are doing both.

What was this "discussion" about?

DarrylS, I might have misinterpreted what you said...I was just replying to your post which made it sound like no one would be interested in stocking up if the custom shop offered a chance to order knives at the original price. Again, it's possible I didn't understand what you were trying to say. If so I apologize and maybe you can explain. :)

Just a bit of sarcasm during a trying period; I'm guilty as well! :o

Does the custom shop ship overseas? If they do, then the power of the Euro (weakness of the dollar) explains how the custom shop can jack the prices. Just because "we" have a problem with the high prices doesn't mean that others do as Darryl stated. Anyone know if they ship overseas (like Canada:))? I still don't get the elk price....oh, Joe is an elk hunter.
I dont think there is anything to do with the overseas shipping!
I trying to get the answer for the same question from buck CS God knows how long, but never get any reply regarding sell CS knives to Europe!
So based on my personal exp, would say no!

I didn't even notice about the charge for a leather sheath!!!

Surpised that the rivets are still "$0". Wait for the website to be updated since someone is accounting must've missed that one.

OK, I'll shut up now...
.

You where right about that buddy,Now you can not add a rivet,or choose bolster in custom shop!cost reduction????
