I used to defend Botach. However, here was my last post on the topic. I'm cutting and pasting from an old thread. I have not done business with Botach since.

Dear Botach,

You've lost my business for good. Three reasons.

(1) I went to the time and trouble to verify your inventory because I
needed my order to ship promptly. Two separate emails from you (see
below) told me that you had the Becker BK-4, 7, 9, and 10 in stock. Both
emails were apparently false.

(2) I have had difficulty getting anyone via phone. Last week, I left a
message for a call-back. My call was not returned.

(3) I asked in my order to be notified immediately if any knives
were out of stock. I was not notified. I had to call in to verify order
status.

Tonight, after calls on four separate weekdays, I finally got a human
being on the phone instead of a message. Lisa informed me that you only
have the Becker BK 2, 3 and 10 in stock. Those model numbers are almost
entirely different than the indications I got last week via email.

That's it. Three strikes and you're out. Botach will get no more of my
money.

Please be sure my order is cancelled as Lisa indicated it would be.
 
heres a feedback thread i left @ snipercentral.com after a terrible experience with them. needless to say all i can say is RUN not walk from these guys.

What an utterly unprofessional business.
i ordered 12 pmags from them nov 4, BEFORE there was any mention about there being any sort of waiting period. They randomly canceled my order because i used an "invalid" coupon code but fail to use a phonecall like any decent business would.
So i call them, get the issue fixed, and im told that i will be in line like everyone else. great right? NO

i call again TODAY and speak with a rep. she says that theres still no official date as to when they will have them in stock but i should get an email notifying me when they will.

..okay im frustrated but im thinking im getting my mags...eventually right?


i check my email NOW and the customer rep says "i sent you an email about a month ago (:-)!T)
and in his "email" that he supposudley sent he says that because of lack of supply, there is no way they can give a date so all backorders have been cancelled so that we may be able to order through other manufacturers.

WTH KIND OF BUSINESS IS THAT.

oh BTW we cancelled your order, take your business elsewhere.

omg im so frustrated right now.
so now, naturally, im screwed out of my mags and now have no way in :-) of getting them at the price i would have before and finiding them alone is going to be a PITA.

Sagi, you have resurrected a thread that ran from December 6, 2000 to June 9, 2001. You are way late in thinking to correct anything. That does seem typical of the Botach response we have come to expect, though. We do not appreciate you trying to make a sales pitch here, either.

par for the course easv lol, par for the course with them.
 
My last dealing with them was so bad I make a point to try and respond anytime I see a Botach thread.
